Vote for Regina Doyle for Monterey Peninsula Water Management District Board
Regina Doyle, the incumbent, is the Sierra Club's choice for the Monterey Peninsula Water Management District Board of Directors for Division 4, which includes Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach and Carmel Woods.
Doyle is an education consultant for developing countries. Prior to moving back to Pacific Grove in 2000 (where her Mother lives), Regina spent 20 years working in developing countries on programs that included water, sanitation, health, and the environment. She and her husband Brendan (who is chief, humanitarian support programs, UNICEF New York), have worked for the Peace Corps, UNICEF, World Health Organization, and numerous other development, NGO, and non-profit agencies.
Doyle graduated from Robert Down Elementary, Pacific Grove High, Cal State Fresno (BA), and University of London, School of Education (MA). Her commitment to open government and respect for people and the environment are qualities that make her an effective board member.
Doyle supports a combination of smaller effective projects and actions, as opposed to only one large project such as the Regional Desalination Project. She is determined to carry on the fight for publicly supported, responsible water solutions.
Election day is November 8. Please vote for Regina Doyle.
