Why Join Ventana GLS?
• You support a local GLBTIQ (Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Intersex Queer) organization that advocates for the environment, sponsors exciting outings and events, and gets involved in local conservation issues. The Ventana area includes Santa Cruz and Monterey counties.
  
• You receive the Ventana GLS newsletter GET OUT! along with current calendar listings.
  
• You can vote in GLS elections.
  
• You can serve on the GLS governing committee, or take on other leadership roles.
  
• You can become a GLS outing leader.
  
• You join our active collaboration with other GLS groups, including our "over-the-hill" friends in Loma Prieta GLS (Santa Clara and San Mateo counties).

• You support the nation's leading environmental advocacy organization.

• You can serve on chapter or group Executive Committees, or join special focus committees (such as Conservation, Transportation, Population).
  
• You need to join the Sierra Club in order to join Ventana GLS.

  All Ventana GLS outings are open to any member of the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, trangender, intersex, or queer community and our allies. You do not have to join Ventana GLS to attend, and you can sign up for our free electronic newsletter (Get OUT). We would, however, love your financial support.
