Volunteering for GLS is a wonderful opportunity to meet people and have fun while giving something back to the community and environment. Here are some ways you can get more involved:

• Serve on the Governing Committee. GLS Governing Committee forms the backbone of the section, and is responsible for the day-to-day running of GLS. We are always looking for folks willing to help keep GLS strong. How do I do this?
  
  
• Lead or co-lead an outing. Become an outings leader, or co-lead an event. You don't need to aspire to official leader status in order to co-lead. To ensure a continued variety of events, we need your participation! How do I do this?
  
  
• Volunteer for special events. Help out with our beach parties, solicit donations for our Pride booth, do outreach, or otherwise put your talents to work on one of our events or projects. How do I do this?
