If you have limited time, or even if you don’t, Sierra Club news and action alert lists are an easy and fast way to keep up to date and take action on issues that you care about. Following are a few of the most popular lists.

VENTANA-SANTACRUZ-ACTIVISTS
The Ventana-SantaCruz-Activists list is a discussion list for members of the Santa Cruz County Group of the Sierra Club to exchange information and ideas about environmental concerns in our county.
Open to Sierra Club members.
Click on the above link and enter your name as it appears on your Ventana mailing label. Include your membership number if you know it.

SIERRACLUB-CURRENTS
Sierra Club Currents are environmental updates sent out twice a week, sometimes with action alerts. The updates are very short but have links you can follow to get more in-depth information on items of interest. Action alerts contain links to draft letters that you can modify and have sent at the click of a button, or they ask you to call a legislator, providing talking points for you to use.

CALIF-ALERTS
The California Alerts is the official distribution list for Sierra Club Legislative Alerts. Alerts are posted once a week during the California legislative session.

CALIF-COASTWATCHER
California Coastwatcher is a monthly e-mail bulletin containing news having to do with protecting the California coast. Occasional action alerts are sent out on this list.

You can also get a complete list of all Sierra Club lists, join most of them or view the archives of some of them.
